Fully reconstructed, restored and preserved embankment south of Skopje's Kale was specially lit tonight, in anticipation of tomorrow's holiday on September 8, Independence Day of Macedonia.

Illumination is done in one color, and will use modern lighting devices, which give different nuances and dynamics of light. Because the energy that will be needed for lighting, at the entrance of the site is built separate transformer.

Today was promoted new parking space under the transportation center, by the Mayor of the City of Skopje, Koce Trajanovski, Mayor of the Municipality of Aerodrom, Ivica Konevski and the director of JP "Gradski parking," Borce Jakimovski.

"One of the major challenges facing the Municipality of Aerodrom is exactly meet the needs of parking space, for which Council undertakes a series of activities," said Mayor Konevski. 

He pointed to previous activities in order to significantly increase the capacity of parking places in the Municipality of Aerodrom, such as putting into operation of underground garages in the vicinity of the mall "gem", the introduction parking zone, the commitment to build a multistory parking lot, as manufacture and installation of modern car parks, which is in progress. 

"The new parking lot, which has a capacity of 218 parking places, with an investment of 12 million, aims to improve parking conditions in the Municipality of Aerodrom, said Koce Trajanovski. 

The new parking will be managed by  JP "Gradski parking."

 

 

Today, Mayor of the City of Skopje, Koce Trajanovski, in the Cabinet, received a delegation from sister city of Nuremberg, Republic of Germany, who headed the honorary citizen of Skopje, Mr. Werner Trini. Responsible for cooperation with the City of Skopje, Mr. Trini, and with it, within this five-day visit, was Stephen Helvig, representative of the German pension plant.

Purpose of the visit to several projects which continued deepening cooperation in several areas, including the twin cities. 

On the initiative of Mr. Trini, the first project, which will be released in February next year, is open advisory office in Skopje, where all interested Macedonian citizens who once worked and lived in Germany, will be able to obtain the necessary information and to submit application for retirement benefits in the future will provide the German pension insurance with headquarters in Berlin.
